Serious about off-roading and looking for a camper trailer that can take some punishment? Patriot Campers make seriously capable and versatile camper trailers and toy haulers. Light, strong and rigorously tested, they’re ripe for the most challenging adventures off road. Check them out on Australia’s camping and outdoor gear marketplace.
Patriot Campers has been around since 2013, and they’ve been a force to be reckoned with straight off the bat. The first X1 started as a sketch in Stradbroke Island’s sand, and within months the prototype was lapping up attention at its very first trade show. Within a year Patriot Campers picked up the first of many industry awards.
Six years on, Patriot Campers has a fleet of serious off-road camper trailers and toy haulers to its name. Proven unstoppable over the most challenging terrain, each Patriot model has been pushed to its limits in the field.
On extreme off-road adventures, strength, weight, size and balance are paramount. Every Patriot model ticks these boxes, with the heaviest of the fleet still coming in with a dry tare weight of under one tonne. Patriot favours an aluminium monocoque shell design because it’s light and tough, and they keep the draw bar weight at 120kg to prevent the need for suspension upgrades.
These camper trailers are built to reach remote locations, but they’re also built to keep you out there longer, with a combination of generous water storage, gel batteries, a full range of electrical inputs, and smart storage for all the essentials.
The current adventure trailer range includes the original X1, the slightly smaller and lighter X2, and Patriot’s new flagship model – a refined hardtop version of the X1. The TH610 toy hauler rounds out the range for those who can’t go bush without their toys.
The folks at Patriot Campers are a community-minded lot, drawing on the best suppliers and a team of more than 100 local Queenslanders to turn out their product, while bolstering the Australian industry. Each unit is hand-forged in a purpose-built factory on the Gold Coast, and bears the Australian Made sticker that’s synonymous with quality.
Each unit also gets the stamp of approval via independent auditing, and you’ll find the RVMAP accreditation key on all their vehicles.
